Software introduction

    "You'll see a hundred," said Marshall Elliott.
We haven't had many tranquil puzzlers for a while, so why not take a look at I Love Hue?
Or he his manage by th' well-doing steed.

    A PEACOCK spreading its gorgeous tail mocked a Crane that passed by, ridiculing the ashen hue of its plumage and saying, "I am robed, like a king, in gold and purple and all the colors of the rainbow; while you have not a bit of color on your wings." "True," replied the Crane; "but I soar to the heights of heaven and lift up my voice to the stars, while you walk below, like a cock, among the birds of the dunghill."&#;

Despite getting a Bronze Award and fusing Victorian fiction with silly humour, Betram Fiddle's first episode didn't make enough money to fund its second episode.

But not all is lost. The creators at Rumpus Animation have taken the game to Kickstarter where they hope to raise £25,000.

With this, and the money and work they've already got under their belt, Rumpus should be able to get Episode 2: A Bleaker Predicklement out by September 2016.

That'll be on Windows and Mac via Steam as well as iOS, as before.

As you'd expect, Bertram and and Gavin return in this second episode, and get closer to revealing the true identity of Geoff the Murderer.

"We want Episode 2 to be bigger and better and more puzzlier than the first," Rumpus says.

As part of this, it's also teamed up with German game studio Deck13 (creators of Dark Souls-esque console and PC game Lords of the Fallen) who will lend its expertise to Bertram Fiddle.

You can secure copies of Bertram Fiddle's second episode as well as all future episodes on PC or mobile over on its Kickstarter.

If you want to check out the first episode then it's available for £2.29 / $2.99 on the App Store or for £4.99 / $5.99 on Steam.
"I'm afraid not, Susan. Gilbert says there is no hope. He knew from the first the little thing couldn't live."&#;

    Leslie, having once made up her mind what to do, proceeded to do it with characteristic resolution and speed. House-cleaning must be finished with first, whatever issues of life and death might await beyond. The gray house up the brook was put into flawless order and cleanliness, with Miss Cornelia's ready assistance. Miss Cornelia, having said her say to Anne, and later on to Gilbert and Captain Jim--sparing neither of them, let it be assured--never spoke of the matter to Leslie. She accepted the fact of Dick's operation, referred to it when necessary in a business-like way, and ignored it when it was not. Leslie never attempted to discuss it. She was very cold and quiet during these beautiful spring days. She seldom visited Anne, and though she was invariably courteous and friendly, that very courtesy was as an icy barrier between her and the people of the little house. The old jokes and laughter and chumminess of common things could not reach her over it. Anne refused to feel hurt. She knew that Leslie was in the grip of a hideous dread--a dread that wrapped her away from all little glimpses of happiness and hours of pleasure. When one great passion seizes possession of the soul all other feelings are crowded aside. Never in all her life had Leslie Moore shuddered away from the future with more intolerable terror. But she went forward as unswervingly in the path she had elected as the martyrs of old walked their chosen way, knowing the end of it to be the fiery agony of the stake.MyPet House: Animal Home Decor(Unlimited Currency)
Earth Atlantis promises a sprawling ocean of ruins and caves, as you survive waves of creatures and defeat monstrous bosses.

The Hart and the Vine

The acclaimed narrative-driven adventure game that arguably birthed the ‘walking simulator' genre, The Chinese Room’s Dear Esther, is finally making its way to iOS later this year.

Since its original launch on PC back in 2012, it’s sold over one million units, all while being hailed as a forward-thinking title that opened up a space for modern classics like What Remains of Edith Finch and Gone Home. Like it or not, it’s hard to argue with those who say Dear Esther’s deliberate pace and lack of traditional action felt unique and refreshing at the time.

It sees you exploring the mysterious coastline and caves of a woozy, dreamlike Hebridean island. As you explore, an unnamed narrator read fragments of a cryptic letter that you must then make sense of. I’d definitely recommend keeping an eye out for odd scribblings on the cave walls, unexplained machine parts strewn throughout the abandoned island, and the odd ghost watching you from afar.

After the success of Dear Esther, The Chinese Room went on to create Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture – another ‘walking sim’ that proved to be extremely divisive, with some singing its praises and others loathing its slow pace and story which arguably always kept players at a distance. Regardless, the developer and its games will forever hold a special place in my heart, especially for their soundtracks which I pulled from numerous times for various university projects.

Even if you think it might not be for you, I’d still recommend giving it a go. Look for Dear Esther on the App Store later this year. No firm date has been given yet, but we’ll be sure to let you know once more details emerge.
Check out our news section to discover the latest, and greatest, games.

Nitro Games, the folks behind titles such as Heroes of Warland and Medals of War, is back with another multiplayer shooter. Their latest shooting venture will be called Lootland and it will be heading to mobile devices at some stage in 2020.

Details on the game itself are fairly scarce at the moment. In fact, beyond the very colourful looking image we have as the thumbnail for this article, we haven't even seen any gameplay yet. Though if you've played any of their prior titles, you'll have a rough idea of what to expect from a Nitro shooter. If not, check out the trailer for Heroes of Warland below to see some of their past work.

So let's run through the details we do know. Nitro is pitching Lootland as a 'super-casual' co-op multiplayer shooter where you'll work together to defeat wave after wave of numerous monsters. So unlike Heroes of Warland, this appears to be an entirely PVE focused shooter.

February 29th comes but once... every four years?

HTC has decided to mark the occasion by offering up preorders of the HTC Vive Pre starting on the leap day itself.

There's still no word yet on price or even a final shipping date, but it's expected to ship in April.

We don't have anything else yet. The Vive Pre looks exciting though because it's the first big VR headset to have a camera on the back meaning that you could theoretically wear it forever* if you wanted.

The headset is developed in partnership with Half-Life developers Valve and will be distributing games via the company's Steam platform.

This leaves the focus on the PS:VR. When is Sony's headset coming and how much will it cost?

Leave your wild speculation, complaints about how high the price will probably be and general thoughts below.
*Don't do this.

Sky: Children of the Light sounds as great as it looks, so it's great to hear that thatgamecompany has now released the game's original soundtrack digitally. It was scored by Vincent Diamante, who you might remember also composed the OST for Flower.

So much of the game's uplifting mood is achieved through its rich soundscape that you as a player can add to by playing instruments of your own. The soundtrack here was performed by FAME's Macedonian Symphonic Orchestra with a 47-piece ensemble. You'll hear a mix of traditional orchestral and ethnic wind instruments throughout.
Fresh to myself, if I had self-applied
