The last time we heard about Marvel Battle Lines was back in July and that was just after we got a little bit of footage. Details were still pretty thin on the ground, but guess what? It's launching worldwide on October 24th.

Nicalis teased it a little while ago but now we can stop guessing. Yes, VVVVVV is coming to the Nintendo Switch.
Turn your #NintendoSwitch upside-down with #VVVVVV, the gravity-defying action game by @terrycavanagh!Available on Nintendo #eShop 11.17.17 pic.twitter.com/ib24kAcfRg— Nicalis, Inc. (@nicalis) October 23, 2017 VVVVVV is a gravity-reversing platformer where you'll be switching up physics rather than doing the usual 'jump to get over an obstacle' thing. You play as the pixellated Captain Viridian as you quest to find your friends, bring them home, and save the world while you're at it.

What gamers love so much about this game in particular is that there's nothing standing in the way of you and progression but your own skill and ability. It's minimal but effective, challening but not impossible, and complete with chiptune music, lots of checkpoints, 60 FPS, and generally fast, fun gameplay.

VVVVVV will be available on the Switch's eShop November 17th for $9.99.

Mark Ellis: Train Bridge Inspector is a game about train accidents, made entirely on a train.

More specifically, it's a game about ridiculously unstable railroad bridges, developed during the 52 hour Train Jam event that annually precedes GDC in San Francisco.

In it, you're tasked with giving a series of procedurally generated bridges your official Mark Ellis stamp of approval... or not.

After you make your choice, based (no doubt) on your years of civil engineering expertise, you get to watch a small train car chug along the tracks.

Your determination of structural integrity makes no difference to the train.

Either it makes it across the bridge with no problems (just a few loose stones here and there), or it collapses in a flurry of buckling wood and arbitrarily placed support beams.

Your only role is to guess which it'll be.

In this way, Mark Ellis: Train Bridge Inspector is like a physics-based bridge constructing game for the lazy.

It was made solely for the folks who only play physics games to watch things break in all kinds of dynamic, emergent, and hilarious ways.

You can download Mark Ellis: Train Bridge Inspector for free on the App Store.
"Would you marry him if he were a Methodist, Miss Cornelia?"
Real-world Pokemon hunting Pokemon GO made a lot of waves when it was announced. It's a Pokemon game for smartphones but not the kind you thought it would be.

It uses your device's GPS and makes you go outside in order to catch Pokemon all over the globe. It's made by Niantic makers of Ingress, another AR game. Since then, Niantic went on to earn 20 million dollars from Nintendo, Google and The Pokemon Company.

But the only footage we have for now is the CG trailer posted below. A Beta was promised at the end of 2015 but was pushed back.

Well we now have confirmation that the game will finally be shown at the Games Developers Conference at a panel. GDC is opening on March 14th and ending on March 18th, so look forward for more information soon.

A PEACOCK spreading its gorgeous tail mocked a Crane that passed by, ridiculing the ashen hue of its plumage and saying, "I am robed, like a king, in gold and purple and all the colors of the rainbow; while you have not a bit of color on your wings." "True," replied the Crane; "but I soar to the heights of heaven and lift up my voice to the stars, while you walk below, like a cock, among the birds of the dunghill."

A SNAKE, having made his hole close to the porch of a cottage, inflicted a mortal bite on the Cottager's infant son. Grieving over his loss, the Father resolved to kill the Snake. The next day, when it came out of its hole for food, he took up his axe, but by swinging too hastily, missed its head and cut off only the end of its tail. After some time the Cottager, afraid that the Snake would bite him also, endeavored to make peace, and placed some bread and salt in the hole. The Snake, slightly hissing, said: "There can henceforth be no peace between us; for whenever I see you I shall remember the loss of my tail, and whenever you see me you will be thinking of the death of your son."
