Merge MermaidsFunction introduction
When Owen Ford came Anne secretly admitted, as Miss Cornelia towed him in, that he was very "well-looking" indeed. He was tall and broad-shouldered, with thick, brown hair, finely-cut nose and chin, large and brilliant dark-gray eyes.

A LAMP, soaked with too much oil and flaring brightly, boasted that it gave more light than the sun. Then a sudden puff of wind arose, and the Lamp was immediately extinguished. Its owner lit it again, and said: "Boast no more, but henceforth be content to give thy light in silence. Know that not even the stars need to be relit"

zCube is an RTS strategy game from Game Dev Team that's inspired by PC titles of years gone by. It's also played on a giant cube, with each different face acting as a new area to build bases and initiate skirmishes on. It's available now for iOS and Android.

It's a spin on the usual fog of war type mechanic where you'd normally have to send scouts into the fog to gain vision. In zCube this works similarly except that you'll have to venture to the edge of each face of the cube so the map rotates to get reveal what is happening on other sides of the map.

It's a neat idea and helps the game stand out a little from other RTS games. Beyond that, it seems to be everything you'd expect from the genre. You'll be capturing various sectors, gathering resources and researching new tech.

And was my own fee-simple, not in part,
It's rare that a mobile platform game comes up with an idea that makes you go "ooh," but that's the exact response that Terrible Tower for Android eilicited from me today.

At first glance it's a pretty standard platformer. You stomp around jungle temple-y levels, collecting coins and power-ups and avoiding spikes and other obstacles.

Then you get to a platform you can't reach. And you walk off the edge of whatever ground you're stood on and tumble down the bottom of the screen, only to emerge back at the top.

It's an odd mechanic, but it makes for a really interesting experience. You're constantly dropping off the screen to land somewhere new.

There's even a bit of mild-puzzling, as you work out the best place to leap and the safest place to land.

The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) has warned that YouTubers need to make it clear when they are paid to make a promotional video.

This came from an investigation by a BBC reporter who looked into a number of prominent UK YouTubers who participated in promotional "Oreo Lick Race" videos.

The problem wasn't that these YouTubers had made these videos but that they had not marked them as paid-for promotions clearly enough.

Due to the ASA's warning, YouTubers are now expected to put "ad" or "promo" in the title of their videos, or to "use a symbol in the thumbnail telling viewers what they're about to click on is an advert," details the BBC.

The ASA also noted that it will be paying closer attention to online videos in the future due to this investigation.
So what?
Now, you may be asking how this is relevant to video games.

Well, it was discovered earlier this year that a number of YouTubers who make gaming videos were being paid by publishers and developers to promote their games.

And, yep, many of them were also not making it clear that those videos were paid-for promotions.

With the ASA's warning, it means that those YouTubers will have to ensure that they make it very clear when they upload a promotional video.

Little more than a week after we got the first teaser trailer, Zlatan Legends is now out on iOS.

Human: Fall Flat has become something of a gaming sensation, selling over 5 million copies across PC and consoles, and now it's getting a shot at an even bigger audience with its upcoming mobile port.

Produced by 505 Games, with Codeglue handling the port, Human: Fall Flat will presumably land on both iOS and Android in the near future. Exact details are scant - we don't have a release window of any kind, nor is there any definitely indication of platforms. But we'll happily assume that "mobile" means everyone, and not just iOS.

If you're not entirely sure what Human: Fall Flat is, it's a silly physics-based platformer that has you stumbling around levels, trying to push and pull things about to get your little grey blobby character to the end.

"How kind and thoughtful you are, Captain Jim. Nobody else-- not even Gilbert"--with a shake of her head at him--"remembered that I always long for mayflowers in spring."'Yet did I not, as some my equals did,
